Materials: J. & P. Coats Knit-Cro-Sheen, 1 ball of main color and 1 ball each of 2 contrasting colors.
Milward's Casein knitting pins, 1 pair No. 1 (2½ mm. size).

Gauge: 15 sts make 1 inch; 12 rows make 1 inch. Hat is made of 3 bands—1 back band and 2 front bands. These are worked entirely in stockinette st (k 1 row, p 1 row).

   Cast on 132 sts loosely. Divide sts on 3 needles, join, being careful not to twist sts, and work around in ribbing of k 1, p 1, for 11 inches.

Gauge: 8 sts equal 1 inch. 10 rows equal 1 inch.
